24 États membres ont fourni des informations sur les lois et pratiques nationales concernant la détention des familles avec enfants dans le cadre des procédures de migration, la possibilité de détenir l’un des parents et la détention dans le cadre du processus d’évaluation de l’âge.

This study provides insight into the decision-making process of migrant families in family locations in the Netherlands, whose legal remedies in most cases have been exhausted, but nevertheless decide not to return.

On 16 September 2020, the Interior Committee of the Belgian House of Representatives held a parliamentary hearing on a legislative proposal concerning the prohibition of detention of minors. EMN Belgium contributed to the hearing by presenting the laws, policies and practices in other EU Member States.
