Op 27 november werd de eerste editie van de tweejaarlijkse Vlaamse Migratie- en Integratiemonitor gelanceerd. Het rapport bundelt en duidt administratieve en statistische data over migratie- en integratieprocessen in Vlaanderen, binnen een Belgisch en Europees kader.

Op 1 januari 2025 had meer dan een derde van de Belgische bevolking een buitenlandse herkomst, zo blijkt uit de nieuwste cijfers van Statbel, het Belgische statistiekbureau. Terwijl 64% van de inwoners Belgen met een Belgische herkomst zijn, bestaat de overige 36% uit Belgen met een buitenlandse herkomst en uit niet-Belgen. Regionale verschillen en evoluties over de afgelopen twintig jaar tonen veranderende demografische patronen aan.

The Education Department of Caritas International Belgium, in collaboration with the non-profit organisation Sankaa, has launched "Building Bridges", an educational resource for secondary school teachers. This resource helps educators address key topics such as identity, prejudice, racism, and media representation. At its core, "Building Bridges" explores the central question: How can we create a more supportive and inclusive society where everyone has a place?
