4th edition of the Migration and Health Seminar
The 4th edition of the annual Migration & Health Seminar, jointly organised by the Institute of Tropical Medicine and the University of Antwerp (MIGLOBA; previously CEMIS), will focus on mental health and migration.
What
Evidence shows that the circumstances of the journeys and of migrants' settlement process in the countries of residence can increase the risk for mental well-being. During this event, psychiatrists, NGOs working in the field, migrant associations and researchers will discuss mental health and interventions to improve mental health among diverse populations.
