Op de Tent Partnership for Refugees European Business Summit die vandaag in Parijs plaatsvindt, hebben 41 vooraanstaande bedrijven gezamenlijk ambitieuze toezeggingen aangekondigd om meer dan 250.000 Oekraïense vluchtelingenvrouwen en andere vluchtelingen een baan en opleiding te bieden in heel Europa. Deze toezeggingen zullen het personeelsbestand van bedrijven versterken, arbeidstekorten opvullen en de Europese economieën een impuls geven.

The First Rome Dialogue on Jobs and Migration will focus on the Labour market integration of refugees and asylum seekers. It will discuss the pros and cons of different schemes, including some new hybrid alternatives that are being tested.

De vergadering bracht zowel institutionele actoren, als actoren uit de privésector samen om van gedachten te wisselen over eigen ervaringen en eventuele kennis van de toekomstige EU Talent Pool en andere databanken.

This Innovation Challenge will support studies focused on the effectiveness of new solutions (interventions, data/tools, policy actions) which improve cross-border labor mobility and labor market integration of international migrants and refugees. Interested participants must submit their Expression of Interest by 31 January 2023.

The Commission and the European Economic and Social Committee are organising a conference on "From Crisis Management Towards Everyday Practice: Lessons from the refugees' integration for future labour market and social policies", on 6 November in Brussels.

The Migration Policy Institute Europe (MPI Europe), the United States Mission to the European Union, the Mission of Canada to the European Union, and the European Economic and Social Committee will organise a conference on 'Social innovation for refugee inclusion: Maintaining momentum and creating lasting change'.   

Het Belgische contactpunt van het Europees migratienetwerk (EMN) organiseerde een conferentie over arbeidsmarktparticipatie van begunstigden van internationale bescherming. Het evenement vond plaats op 8 november 2016 in Brussel.

Op 29 juni werd in Parijs door het Franse contactpunt van het EMN een conferentie georganiseerd over de arbeidsmartintegratie van begunstigden van internationale bescherming en specifieke ondersteunende maatregelen ter bevordering hiervan.

The Labour Market Observatory (LMO) of the European Economic and Social Committee is holding a public seminar on “Integrating refugees into the labour market: turning the crisis into an opportunity”.

Project applications submitted under the Call for Proposals on Actions in the area of Integration should be submitted no later than today, 29 February 2016.
