Study Day: Partner Migration - Research and the Challenges for Policy

The Flemish organisation 'Kruispunt M-I' invites for its study day on Partner Migration. The organisation will define major challenges for the migration policy on grounds of recent research

Partner Migration is a hot issue in Belgium: on 26 May, for example, the Parliament voted for a tightening of the family reunification-rules. ‘Kruispunt M-I’ invites for its study day researchers and practitioners to answer relevant questions concerning Partner Migration. Is the available data and research sufficient? What are the new trends in Family Migration? With which barriers family migrants are confronted with?
