Morning lecture: Challenges in Immigration Law (Studipolis and VUB)

Studipolis, in co-operation with the Free University of Brussels, organises a morning lecture, treating the implementation in Belgian Law of the second phase of the CEAS.

1. What?

The recent adoption of the recast asylum acquis within the CEAS will urge for adaptations of national immigration law. First,  a general overview of the second phase of the CEAS will be given. Second, a preview of the expected changes will be presented, based on concrete challenges concerning gathering of proof, the implementation of the Qualification and Asylum Procedures Directives and legal protection.
