The seminar shall focus on the migration and asylum related aspects of the Stockholm Programme, such as (but not exclusively): Trafficking; Migration and Development; Effective border control; Visa policy; Return and readmission; Full exercise of the right to free movement (EU citizens; Long-term residents); Labour Migration; Irregular migration; Immigration Detention; Asylum procedures; the Common European Asylum System; Statelessness, and Migration Governance.

Participation is only open to:

• EU Member States (two government representatives from each Member State)
• Researchers and academia involved
• EU organisations, Intergovernmental Organisations, Non-Intergovernmental Organisations and Non-Profit Organisations (two respresentatives of selected and invited organisations)
