Migration Policy Conference: Stockholm
The Dutch Migration Policy Department plans to organize a two-day seminar in The Hague with policy makers and academia to discuss and share research results and policy challenges relating to the Stockholm migration chapters.
1. What?
The seminar shall focus on the migration and asylum related aspects of the Stockholm Programme, such as (but not exclusively): Trafficking; Migration and Development; Effective border control; Visa policy; Return and readmission; Full exercise of the right to free movement (EU citizens; Long-term residents); Labour Migration; Irregular migration; Immigration Detention; Asylum procedures; the Common European Asylum System; Statelessness, and Migration Governance.

Monday 9 December 2013(from 11.30 am untill 8.30 pm)
and
Tuesday 10 December 2013 (from 9 am untill 11.15 am)

4. Registration?
Participation is only open to:
- EU Member States (two government representatives from each Member State)
- Researchers and academia involved
- EU organisations, Intergovernmental Organisations, Non-Intergovernmental Organisations and Non-Profit Organisations (two respresentatives of selected and invited organisations)
