MAFE Project: Migration between Africa and Europe

The MAFE project is a major research initiative focused on migration between Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe. It brings together nine European and African research centres working on international migrations

MAFE is an international research project funded under the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Commission (FP7). It was launched in October 2008 and brings together six European, including Belgium, and three African partners to carry out new data collection which will be followed by innovative analysis on migration between Africa and Europe.
