Internship opportunity at EMN Belgium

The Belgian Contact Point to the European Migration Network is looking for an intern to support the team in its mission, including in the framework of the 2024 Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU. If you want to expand your knowledge on asylum and migration topics as well as your network in this field, this opportunity may be for you!

EMN Belgium is looking for:

  • A university Master's student (you must be currently enrolled in a programme in order to meet the conditions for an internship convention - which means that the internship is unpaid);
  • Fluent in English as well as in one of the national languages (French or Dutch) + working knowledge of the other;
  • With an interest in asylum and migration issues in Belgium and in the EU.

EMN Belgium offers:

  • The opportunity to expand your network by attending conferences and events, and meet key stakeholders both at EU and Belgian levels;

If you are a proactive and dynamic person, if you can demonstrate a strong willingness to learn on a variety of tasks and topics, and if you are flexible and available at least 3 days a week for a minimum of 3 months (alternating office presence and teleworking), then:
