Fedasil Webinar on the Community Sponsorship program to set up a sustainable reception model for resettled persons
Through this Webinar, Fedasil aims to encourage partners to embark on the path of Community Sponsorship in order to ensure the continuity of the resettlement program.
What
Each year, the Belgian government sets a quota which determines the number of people to be resettled: in 2023, Belgium undertakes to resettle 500 refugees. To respect this commitment, Fedasil wants to encourage partners to engage in Community Sponsorship, a sponsorship program in which an organization comes to support a group of enthusiastic citizens who have decided to accompany resettled refugees.
The Fedasil resettlement team offers potential partners a webinar to inform them on the Community Sponsorship model.
