EMN Estonia Conference: Activating the TPD – Retrospect and Ways Forward
As more than a year has passed since activating the Temporary Protection Directive, the conference focuses on the experiences of the Member States and host societies regarding the TPD as well as on long-term scenarios and ways forward.
What
The Conference will be divided in two parts. During the first part, participants will be invited to reflect on the challenges faced and the lessons learnt by EU Member States when implementing the Temporary Protection Directive. During the second part, long-term solutions for beneficiaries of temporary protection and impacts on host societies will be discussed.

The conference is held in a hybrid format. The conference will be held in Estonian Academy of Security Sciences and online.
