EMN Belgium presents current migration issues to the Commission of Foreign Affairs of the Benelux Parliament
On Friday 3 March, the European Migration Network (EMN) Belgium was invited by the Commission of Foreign Affairs of the Benelux Parliament to talk about joint migration issues in the Benelux.
The presentation focused on:
- EMN's work in the context of the implementation of the Temporary Protection Directive;
- The comparison between the Temporary protection system and the EU international protection system and related issues (such as accommodation);
- An outlook on future challenges in the context of migration and the labour market (Talent Partnerships, skills recognition and legislative recasts).
EMN Belgium looks forward to more fruitful exchanges with policymakers.
