EMN Belgium introduces students of Hogeschool Gent to "Destination Europe"

Today, EMN Belgium was invited by Hogeschool Gent to present the learning tool "Destination Europe" to a group of 45 Bachelor students. The role plays engaged them in real-life scenarios of decision making around migration and integration.

Developed by the European Migration Network in collaboration with the University of Luxemburg, Destination Europe is an innovative learning tool that uses role play and other game mechanisms to introduce users to decision-making around migration and integration. It was designed as a means to reach younger audiences and give them the opportunity to engage in balanced and grounded discussions on topics that are often highly politicized and mediatized.

With Destination Europe, users take up roles of various actors involved at the EU, national and city level and immerse themselves in different future scenarios about migration, and the way that different outcomes impact not only migrants themselves but also society at large.

If you are interested in the tool, Destination Europe is readily available for download and printing in 9 languages: https://destinationeurope.uni.lu/.
