EMN Austria Conference: Building orderly migration systems through international cooperation and innovation

The EMN Austria Conference is dedicated to exploring how to build orderly migration systems through international cooperation and innovation. Participants will examine effective partnership models, innovative solutions, and the importance of dialogue and exchange between the EU, its Member States, third countries, and other key actors such as international organisations in shaping regular migration.

What

The Austrian Contact Point to the European Migration Network will gather policymakers, researchers, practitioners, and international organisations to discuss challenges and opportunities in managing migration, particularly in contexts of humanitarian challenges, geopolitical changes, limited financial resources and labour market needs. The conference will include the following panels:

  • Panel I: Navigating Uncertainty – The Role of International Organisations in Building Resilient Migration Systems
  • Panel II: Innovating the External Dimension – Towards a Holistic Approach
  • Panel III: Shaping Pathways – Skills, Mobility and Migration Partnerships in Action
