Convivial Introduction Programme: My position in Belgium (From 8 January to 5 March 2013)
This introduction programme is aimed at refugees and beneficiaries of subsidiary protection who, when leaving a centre, wish to know more about living and working in Belgium and adquire computer skills.
The Convivial programme is supported by the European Union, Brussels Capital Region and the Centre for Equal Opportunities and Fight against Racism.
The next sessions will take place from 8 January to 5 March, including interactive information sessions, practical and individualized exercises making use of computers, personal projects presentations and outings.
Thanks to the programme "Introduction to life in Belgium", participants will adquire better knowledge of:
- Belgian history and institutions
- Social security
- Public welfare centres
- Accomodation
- Health services
- Money managament
- Transport network
- Education and schools
- Work environment
- Training and searching for jobs
- Values
Thanks to the programme "Introduction to socioprofessional integration", participants will learn how to:
- Elaborate a CV
- Write a motivation letter
- Get prepared for an interview
- Present a personal project
