Contributions received to the reflection on future agenda for Home Affairs

Following the period of consultation from 29 October 2013 to 21 January 2014, the Commission has made collected opinions available with a view to contribute to the new agenda for Home Affairs.

Background information

The Stockholm Programme, which framed Home Affairs policies in the years 2010 to 2014, will soon come to an end. It is therefore time to consider the future challenges and priorities to be addressed by these policies in the coming years. In this perspective, the Commission launched a series of initiatives (meetings, seminars, reports, evaluation etc.), including an open reflection and inclusive process of consultation with a wide range of stakeholders, such as European Parliament, national Parliaments, Member States, organised civil society, think tanks, academics, NGOs, law enforcement and other professionals.
