EMN presenteert zijn synthesereport van de EMN studie ‘Satisfying Labour Demand through Migration ’ De bron van deze publicatie zijn de verschillende nationale studies die in 2010 van de Nationale Contactpunten van het EMN werden uitgevoerd.

De studie in opdracht van het IOM door het Bureau van Europese beleidsadviseurs Advisors (BEPA) geeft een overzicht van de toelatingen en verblijfsprocedures voor ongeschoolde en laaggeschoolde werknemers uit derde landen op de arbeidsmarkt van de 27 EU-lidstaten.

Fragomen will host a webinar on recent changes to Belgium’s immigration policies. The session will cover two main areas: first, new rules in the Flanders Region concerning economic migration, including labour migration pathways, contractual liability, and labour market testing; and second, nationwide modifications affecting family reunification, such as stricter financial criteria for visa applications. The webinar will also highlight practical implications for businesses employing foreign nationals.

Op 19 september 2024 presenteerde EMN België de bevindingen voor van zijn nationale bijdrage aan de komende EMN Studie over de Illegale tewerkstelling van onderdanen van derde landen (2017-2022). Daarbij werd de vergelijking gemaakt met de nationale bijdragen van EMN Oostenrijk en EMN Italië.
