The 51st edition of Forced Migration Review is dedicated to the current migration crisis in Europe, which is examined from different perspectives (legal, practical, moral...).

Europol heeft vandaag een nieuw centrum tegen mensensmokkel gelanceerd, het European Migrant Smuggling Center (EMSC). Het doel van het centrum is om de Europese lidstaten proactief te ondersteunen in het ontmantelen van criminele netwerken die instaan voor de mensensmokkel richting Europa.

The Council adopted a series of conclusions on the future of the return policy and approved more money to tackle the refugee crisis. The EMN will be used to monitor whether disparities among Member States' programmes could lead to return shopping.
