The Immigration Office launched the website www.asylumregistration.be

The Immigration Office disclosed a new website aimed at informing applicants for international protection about the purpose and course of the registration. Each step of the process is explained in 16 languages via texts, audio, and videos. The website was co-funded by the European Union.

Applicants for international protection can now find practical information on the registration process at www.asylumregistration.be.

Visitors are provided with information more specifically on:

  • where to enter;
  • how the security check is carried out after entry;
  • how the registration of the application takes place;
  • why fingerprints are being taken;
  • what document is handed over to certify that the application has been registered.

The information is provided in 16 different languages via text, audio, and videos.

In the queue and waiting rooms, posters with QR codes point applicants to the website, which they can access via freely accessible Wi-Fi. In addition to the website, information is also offered via document folders, information kiosks, and brochures.
